Techelas is the Womenice Program of Tech Women in the World for Lusophone countries, African Countries and Diaspory. Techelas aims to be the world’s Lusophone leading organization for Inclusion, Diversity & Equity in STEAM.   Our community is represented by persons of all abilities – regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, class, age, or sexual orientation. We manage to do Awards, Competitions, Mentorships, Fundraising, and Training.  Programs to empower women in tech and engineering and advocacy for gender inclusion.

At least 55% of our society is represented by women.

In Africa, 66% of adults with no schooling are women. More than 1/2 of our girls are forced to drop out of school before completing primary education.
We celebrate Education, Globalization, Technology, and the Internet.  Education is also possible with a single cellphone & Computer.
